South Indian state of Kerala is tropical and perfect for a gentle landing. It's one of my favourite Indian states and ideal for independent travellers. With the possible exception of a backwater boat ride, almost anything in Kerala would be suitable for lone travellers. Varkala and Cochin are my favourites. A small, but walkable region contains a wealth of history and culture in Cochin, a historic trading port.
2. Jaipur
The capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur, is one of my favourite places in all of India. This city has a rich history and is rife with stories of chivalry and romance. Three stunning hilltop forts, numerous royal residences (some of which are now opulent hotels), and a booming arts and crafts sector are all present. The city of creative industries is Jaipur! Among the specialised products you may purchase are hardwood furniture, leather shoes, valuable stones, and fabrics with hand block prints. In addition, it has the greatest selection of hotels in all of India, with options to suit any budget, and it's easy to meet other tourists.
3. Rishikesh
North India's Rishikesh, dubbed the "Yoga capital of the world," is around a five-hour journey from Delhi. Part of the attraction is the gorgeous setting in the Himalayan foothills, by the Ganga River. Sadly, Rishikesh has grown much busier and more developed as a result of its recent explosion in popularity as a travel destination in India. Still, Rishikesh is home to hundreds of yoga schools and ashrams that draw tourists and students from all over the world. Rishikesh is among the greatest places for lone travellers to India because of its abundance of guest homes and hostels, cafes with river views, and an incredible selection of classes, including yoga, meditation, music, and dance.
4.South Goa
Most likely, Goa is the most well-known tourist destination in India. Goa, a small tropical state on the west coast, is well-known for its fun and sun. Split in two, North Goa is often a lot busier, more developed, and party destination. For lone travellers visiting India, I greatly prefer South Goa.
5.Pushkar
India's top destination for lone travellers is Pushkar, a little village in the Rajasthani desert. A serene area, Pushkar is a holy town encircling a small artificial lake.
